Velma is an accomplished financial professional with over a decade of experience in accounting services. She brings a passion, an extensive knowledge of QuickBooks and transactional accounting, a comprehensive understanding of taxation, and a wonderful warm personality to our clients to ensure their success. She has the highest level of integrity of financial operations and her dedication to her role is unwavering.

Originally from Puerto Rico, Velma received her undergraduate degree from the University of Puerto Rico and earned her MBA with a major in Finance from the Temple University Fox School of Business. She is a licensed CPA in both Pennsylvania and Puerto Rico, with certifications in the Bloomberg Market Concepts, FactSet Knowledge Base and HBS Spreadsheet Modeling. She is bilingual, speaking both English and Spanish fluently.

LBC was fortunate to bring such a well-versed professional on board in June 2021. Among other noted accomplishments, Velma was recently responsible for the accounting and related financial activities for a national company, providing accounting oversight for three companies with clients across 36 states. She is currently residing in Furlong PA with her family. When not at work, she enjoys kayaking on the lake and reading.
