Joe is a soft-spoken and highly intelligent professional who brings over 34 years
of expertise to our team. His vast experience includes non-profits, corporations, individual taxes, and tax resolution, both in public accounting and in private sectors. He has a natural skill for seeing every aspect of a challenge at first glance, and for examining each of those pieces to guarantee he reaches the most efficient solution. Within his first two weeks, he resolved
several major challenges facing our clients.
Born in Seoul, South Korea, Joe moved with his family to the US in 1978, as his
parents wished to provide better opportunities for both him and his brother. He
grew up in Elkins Park, where he attended Elkins Park Middle School and
Cheltenham High School, before gaining his Bachelor of Science degree in
Accounting at Temple University. He then went on to pursue a Masters of Science
in Taxation from Drexel University.
Joe joined the Ludwig team in November, 2024. He is active in his church, and now
resides in Maple Glen, PA, with his wife Hyun Ah. He’s the proud father two children, Ellen
and Aaron. His main hobby is cycling.

I have a dry sense of humor which I use to break tension in stressful situations.
