Phyllis Ludwig, a 1984 graduate of Catholic University, was recently involved in the sale of one of our long-term clients, NWL, to American Superconductor. After acting as NWL’s CFO for a number of years, she was well-acquainted with the situation.

To her surprise, the director of the investment bank involved, Fairmount Partners, was Bill Frame, who graduated from Catholic University in 2009. This common ground provided them with a clear understanding of where the other was coming from and led to a wonderfully easy collaboration on the sale.

We are excited to see where this professional acquaintance leads in the future!
