Scott Shannon joined Ludwig Business Consultants in April, 2023. With a strong background in finance and accounting, and diverse experience in various industries, he has an ability to adapt and handle a range of financial tasks. He’s served as a Controller and a CFO of various companies, where he’s focused on implementing new systems to drive growth and on collaborations to streamline operations.

Scott earned his Bachelor of Science in Finance with a minor in Economics from Rutgers University. He particularly enjoyed courses in mathematical economics, applied game theory, derivative securities, and the philosophy of law. He brings this curiosity and passion to his work life, demonstrating a strong work ethic and a sense of persistence in the face of challenges.

In his career, he’s worked in financing, due diligence, shareholder reporting, consulting, bookkeeping, and general management for three publishing companies, an auto services company, two farms, a manufacturer, industrial real estate, two shopping centers, a financing company, an investment company, and a construction company.

Born in New Jersey, Scott has lived in several different states before returning to the area. He is currently single and now resides in Cherry Hill with his two cats. He loves spending time with his extended family, and enjoys staying active by running and spending time outdoors.

What unusual skills or talents do you have that makes you an Individual? 

As an individual, I have a diverse range of interests and skills. While I can’t pinpoint one particular unusual talent or skill, I have always had a knack for making things work and finding solutions to problems. I have a genuine curiosity and interest in people and the world around me, and I am always eager to learn and try new things.

What is the best thing about your job? 

The best thing about my job is the satisfaction I get from helping businesses succeed and seeing the positive impact that my work has on their operations. prioritizes partnership and teamwork. Unlike most outsourcing firms, Ludwig partners with clients to help them achieve their growth objectives. Working closely with clients, as a part of their team, allows us to see the impact of our collaboration first-hand. This unique approach aligns with my personal philosophy of achieving success through teamwork, and I am thrilled to be a part of it.

What is your ideal vacation? 

A cruise around the world.  This would give me the opportunity to see different cultures, try new foods, and explore various parts of the world.

If you were a superhero, what would your superpower be? 

Flying would also allow me to see the world from a new perspective, which could be both exciting and enlightening.
